We collect: (a) the cat photo(s) you upload through our order form; (b) your email address and order details (chosen style, notes, revision requests); (c) basic technical data such as browser type, country-level location, pages viewed and referral source via privacy-friendly analytics. We do not collect your payment card data — payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which collects payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
To create your portrait, deliver it by email, provide customer support, keep order records for accounting/tax purposes, and improve our service. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
The photos you upload are used solely to create your portrait. They are never used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model — ours or anyone else's. They are never published, shared or sold. After your portrait is delivered, we delete your uploaded photos within 30 days, unless you ask us to keep them (e.g. for future revisions or reorders). You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@aicat.pet.
We will only display your cat as a public sample or in marketing if you grant optional consent in the order form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the sample.
We share data only as needed: with Creem (payment processing), our email delivery provider, and cloud storage for file delivery. These providers are contractually limited to processing data for the stated purpose. We do not sell your personal data.
As a service for cat lovers worldwide, your data may be processed outside your country of residence (including in China, where we are based). We rely on contractual safeguards with our processors consistent with applicable law.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. To exercise any of these rights, email support@aicat.pet. We respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 30 days).
We keep order records for accounting/tax purposes as required by law, and delete uploaded photos from active systems within 30 days of delivery unless you consented to sample use or asked us to retain them.
We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics cookies. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser without losing core functionality.
aicat.pet is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@aicat.pet and we will promptly delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on stored files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
