We collect: (a) the cat photo(s) you upload through our order form; (b) your email address and order details (chosen style, notes, revision requests). We do not collect your payment card data — payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which collects payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
To create your portrait, deliver it by email, provide customer support, keep order records for accounting/tax purposes, and improve our service. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
The photos you upload are used solely to create your portrait. We do not use them to train, fine-tune or improve our own AI models. They are not published, shared or sold, except where you grant sample/display consent under Section 4. After your portrait is delivered, we delete copies of your uploaded photos under our control within 30 days, unless you ask us to keep them (e.g. for future revisions or reorders). You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@aicat.pet.
To create your portrait, we upload your cat photo and chosen style prompt to OpenAI's ChatGPT service. This involves sharing your content with a third-party AI provider and may involve processing outside your country. We do not use your uploaded photos to train or fine-tune any AI model of our own. We delete copies under our control in accordance with our retention policy. OpenAI's processing, retention, and data-use controls are governed by its then-current terms and settings.
We would love to show your cat as a public sample or in our marketing. This is entirely optional and only happens if you grant consent through our order form (Tally). When you do, you grant Shenzhen Dongfang Xinchun Trading Co., Ltd. (operating aicat.pet) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the cat photo(s) you upload and the AI-generated portrait(s) based on them — including for secondary editing/creation and for public display on our website (e.g. a gallery page) and our social media channels (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok) — for promotional purposes.
You confirm you have the right to share these photos. Where an identifiable person appears in a photo, you confirm you have obtained that person's separate consent for such use. You keep full ownership of your original photo; we only receive a display license, and you are free to post the result yourself.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing support@aicat.pet; we will remove the sample from our channels (material already published before withdrawal is excepted).
We share data only as needed: with Creem (payment processing), OpenAI's ChatGPT service (AI portrait generation, see Section 3.1), our email delivery provider, and cloud storage for file delivery. We do not sell your personal data. Copies of your uploaded photos held by aicat.pet are deleted within 30 days of delivery unless you consented to sample use or asked us to retain them; third-party providers' own retention periods apply to data processed on their systems.
Your information may be processed in China and in other locations where the service providers identified in Section 5 operate. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for an international transfer, we will provide it before the transfer.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email support@aicat.pet. We respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 30 days).
We keep order records for accounting/tax purposes as required by law, and delete copies of uploaded photos under our control within 30 days of delivery unless you consented to sample use or asked us to retain them.
This site does not set any analytics or advertising cookies. Third-party services used in the order flow (Creem for checkout, Tally for the photo upload form) operate under their own privacy policies and may use their own cookies or similar technologies.
aicat.pet is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@aicat.pet and we will promptly delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS in transit and access controls on stored files. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach as required by law.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
